Bilder fra NC ØRSTA 2006 Round 3 on Sunday was pure bingo lotto. Someone came up while others had to go down. No one completed the task because of strong winds west of the valley from Saebu. Otherwise, we should send the track log from the GPS to email to result list comes out in time or a week. No champagne glamor of the podium that is in Norway competitions in this sport. :-) Has posted photos from NC Yeppoon 2006 in the gallery.

Bjørnar i 1500 meters høyde, NC à rsta 2006 Yesterday was the "bøst" about half way down the valley towards the turning point with approx. 20 other pieces. Yesterday was the timing that applied. Today it was MUCH better. Over 10 pilots made it about 40 km long task. Was up in the 2100 meters and flew just over 30 km. The task that was set by the two turning points at Yeppoon and back to the main landing. Was utelanding at me in a valley near Yeppoon center (wrong route selection, when sea breezes destroyed for buoyancy). But for a wild, beautiful and Tok bilde av noen fjellklatrere / turgÃ¥ere Hà à à YT over Sunnmørsalpene incredible mountain scenery to fly over. One is almost moved. Wild nature I have ever seen! Flying over some mountain climbers who had climbed up on a mountain around. 1200 meters. Fun to spit up past them with 3 m / s path. :-)

Had my last exam on Thursday and Friday. It was a so-called take-home exam in which I and a fellow student sat and worked for almost a day straight. So we'll see if it makes the impact on the character, :-) Otherwise, I'll do a few sensible things forward to the 2nd June. If the Norgescup of paragliding in Yeppoon in Ålesund. Then, the national center for hang and paragliding in Vågå . Going along with Lars Sletten together with Egil Fonn set a new distance record Hinnøya 3 times in 2 days. This is done in highly demanding coastal conditions. Distance record is now 32 km, and the potential to fly longer present. Otherwise the Norway record in the entire 153.6 km , and is held by Frode Halse.

17. May

Daily Day May 17th, 2006

Then the final gallery up and running. Photos coming consecutively. I have also been installed PloggerPress that shows random images to the right.

Otherwise, there has been a somewhat rainy 17 May the Eastern today. Did not train but observed them right outside the window here in Hill city center. It was really enough. :-)

Nødskjermkast

Paragliding May 16th, 2006

Nødskjermkast Thanks to Frode Halse to link back to my blog! Because there certainly is a lot of PG people who come here now, I have published a "comforting image" of nødskjermkastet mine a few years back until I get installed Plogger on my webpage. Nødskjermkastet was controlled and landing at a very ground with lots puddersne. Very easy to test the equipment works. Recommended! Will try to get me out for a flight on 17 May in the Oslo area!

Now the travel fever to sign up. Has just got me a job in Silicon Valley (near San Francisco) in a company called Atrua . They are engaged in intelligent key systems that can read fingerprints (this comes on your phone!) And I will be working in the marketing department.

More about the school founder and master's program at UMB as I go on. I will be posting ongoing information about my stay at the school primer in the U.S. so stay tuned!
