Stuck in Seattle

Daily Day December 28th, 2008

due to a luggage piece. It's really unbelievable, but a luggage piece fell off one of my luggage so it had to be made a new one. It took more time than I had imagined, so I lost my flight to Mexico. Since it does not go more planes here to Mexico, I am in Seattle last night. Now I'm on tour downtoad Seattle to get my dinner. Tomorrow will be 5 hours in San Francisco Foer trip to Mexico. I think maybe I have to visit my old "employer" in Silicon Valley! :-)

After some years of flying, I found out that it is time for a small screen cavalcade. It all started in 1996 when I attended the course with Lars Sletten in Harstad. 3 months after the course I flew a DHV 3 wing (!), And since then there have been several sequels. I have mostly flown on hung in northern Norway, most flights due. experiences. With the recent addition of the stem (Nova Factor, LTF 2), I think it can get more distance trips:

Screen cavalcade

1996: Falhawk Neo. This was my first screen. Was a bit annoyed that I always fell down on the hangar. So I had it in 3 months. It had a glide ratio: brick. :-)

1996: Nova Phantom, DHV 3 (!). This I flew only 4 months after the course. A kvantessprang regard. performance relation. Falhawk Neo. With this I flew long hung and played a lot with asymmetrical innklapp (young and stupid as I was). It was something "hot" so I had it only for 4 months before I bought the next wing.

1996: Falhawk Apex X, DHV 2 This flew many with right after the course (!). Did very well act on this and in 1997 I had my first complete collapse of this in Narvik.

1997: Nova Xyon DHV 2 / 3. A quantum leap in relation. performance. Participated in various Norgescupper with this. Unfortunately, shrinking the rear Dyneema lines by 9 cm, so I did not get it out of a B-rearing. Luckily got replaced all the lines ..

2001: Advance Sigma4, DHV 2 (2 / 3 accelerated). Streamlined profile, good action and a fine distance wing. This sign I expected. 200 hours of. Now it is too porous to fly with.

2005: Advance Omega 5 Distance Machine DHV 2 / 3. Highly directional stability, good glide ratio and action as a bomber.

2007: Nova RA DHV 2 Very good performance, actually a 2 / 3 wing in two-clothes. Documented glide ratio of 1:9. Nice XC wing centered thermals almost automatically.

2008: Nova Factor 1923, LTF 2 Beautiful design with short lines and high sheet. Incredibly good and quick action, the best Nova made. Very good performance on a par with Nova Tycoon (DHV 2 / 3).

2 slip trips

After two trips, I can slip so far to say that these are wings! Have NEVER flown a wing with better handling, quicker steering and more precise steering. A pleasure to fly. Seemed very stable at full speed. Here is the landing on the maiden voyage:
